I have not been around sorry :( I have not been around because I have had Flu! Yes Flu in the middle of a rare English hot sunny weather period. At first I though no it's the hayfever getting worse but I think the shivering and having to wear a jumper in 31 degree heat whilst having a temperature of around 100, the legs feeling like some-one had replaced them with jelly overnight, the aches, pains (not unusual with fibro mind) and general malaise convinced me. If it wasn't flu it was a vicious bloody cold!
The worst part of it for me was the headache. If some-one had told me that I had slept walked to a club during the night and some 400lb bloke on a mix of steroids and meth had used my head as his punching bag I think my response would have been:

"Only one didn't his mates join in too?"

Of course the kids got milder versions too and were off school for a couple of days and my chances to get on here were limited but I did have oppurtunity I just couldn't face my tender head being that close to a bright illuminated screen. So now looking forward to getting the kids back to school and me to the gym madam has produced a rash. It is a blotchy blister resembling rash *eek* so I am waiting and hoping it doesn't turn into Chicken Pox as although the bys have had it before she was born I will have to keep them off school as she would be contagious and infect half the town during the school runs.

On another subject I got another visit from my uh-hmm "lovely" neighbour again the other day. he was obviously having a clear out and whether to be generous or to try and influence me to do the same he bought some games for the kids. One of them was the Jenga blocks thing and the other was Ker-Plunk. I remember having loads of fun playing with Ker-Plunk as a kid I am sure alot of you remember it too you know the little plastic sticks with dangerously sharp pointed ends and the marbles. Perfect for my 2 and 3 year old kids right?

Oh well I have taken Dommart's advice and cultivated the weeds in the garden much to the neighbours chagrin :) To be honest the hayfever has been so bad I can't step into the back garden without my nose turning into a tap and non-stop sneezing ensuing. Some-how operating a mower and strimmer with young kids around and eyes closed from sneezing doesn't seem a good idea to me! Along with the weeds I have managed to acquire a fully flowering pink rose bush and some kind of tree that wasn't there when we moved in four months ago! No idea what it is rofl.
